My students are excitable, creative, and curious above all! They are involved with a wide array of activities, whether that be sports, church, music, family businesses, or more. They are multi-talented, humorous, and loving. Many of my students come from low-income homes, yet the love and support from our families is strong!
The goal of my music classroom is to continue instilling love and confidence in my students through cooperative, creative exploration.
My students’ main exposure to the arts is through my classroom and their future music and art classes in school, so every music class counts!
My Project
Our school has recently adopted the Ron Clark House System, which is a philosophy for creating a strong school culture and community while raising the bar to help students achieve more. Our students love being part of their house families!
Having a quality sound system will create opportunities for outdoor assemblies, such as House Assemblies, and numerous other events.
I believe that a positive, passionate learning environment is essential in helping students discover and reach their potential. Thus, utilizing multiple engagement strategies and providing our students with memorable experiences is key.
