Ms. Myatt from Wilmington DE is requesting computers & tablets through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the absolute best education while they are learning virtually using an easel, flow chart paper and markers, a tripod, and a Flocabulary license. With the help of an Apple iPad I am also able to monitor their instructional tasks while we are on Zoom together.

Third grade can be hard for many students, but third grade virtually can seem even more difficult. I am so proud of my 40 students and what they have accomplished during remote instruction due to Covid-19. My students show up every day, ready and eager to learn. They have shown true dedication and persistence in the face of uncertainty and it is truly worth commending.
The materials that I am requesting will help me to make our virtual classroom experience feel much more like an in-person one. During in-person classroom instruction, I would use an easel and easel paper to present anchor charts to my students. These charts would be placed around the room for students to view. This was a way to have students refer back to the content that has been presented to them. While we have been remote, I have been limited with space and materials that were readily available in my classroom.
Covid-19 has thrown all of us for a loop, but my students are making the best of a very trying time.
Even with the limited resources at my disposal, my students try and do their best and I see it every day. We are determined not to let these current circumstances dictate the quality of my instruction or their education.
The materials I am requesting will help me to navigate through my lessons and give my students an in-class learning experience online. I am requesting a tripod to mount a camera, an iPad to monitor instructional tasks while on Zoom, as well as the Magnetic Write Wipe Adjustable Easel to make anchor charts apart of our daily instructional materials. In order to create anchor charts, I need lots of easel paper and markers. So I am requesting Sharpie markers, as well as, Expo dry erase markers. Additionally, I am requesting a license to Flocabulary, this will help me to create more engaging and interactive lessons.
