Elevating Our Students To New Heights Through Volleyball

Help me give my students access to playing volleyball outside. We have restrictions due to Covid 19 as to how many students we can have in the gym.

My Students

My students have been impacted by covid 19 from the closures of schools last year and this year from not having access to indoor athletic equipment. That is why we want to obtain outdoor volleyball equipment so all students have access to play volleyball outside.

Volleyball has become an important way of engaging our students in physical activities.

Recently we have noticed an increasing interest in the sport of volleyball. I have students ask, all the time, how they can play more volleyball. Getting time to play, in our gym, costs money and because of Covid 19, it would be nice for my students to play volleyball outside on our school property.

My Project

Students are continually asking me to play volleyball outside. It is imperative for our students to have opportunities for physical activity to combat time spent inside using technology. It is also safer to be outside playing because of Covid-19 restrictions inside of our school.

Furthermore, exercise helps all students with their social-emotional states of mind.

It is proven that physical activity releases endorphins in the body which produces good feelings for kids. With the increasing cases of depression and anxiety; our students need to play outside to be able to excel in life.
