Help me give my students the tools to study electricity in a hands on way! These kits provide my students the opportunity to perform experiments and create instead of read or watch videos and answer questions.
At our school, the students I am fortunate enough to teach are leaders. These students not only study the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People but they live it out. These students have stepped up and teach families and business leaders in the community about the habits as well as exemplified the 8th Habit: Find Your Voice. These kids have worked and researched for things they are passionate about and they deserve to have quality materials to give them an AWE-inspiring learning experience in science as well.
I consider myself blessed to get to know and teach these kids.
They are determined, driven and inspiring humans. They stand up for things they believe in and they inspire me to do the same. They inspire me to speak out and reach out in order to give them the experiences they deserve.
Hello everyone! As you know some of you might know Arizona created new science standards and some of them are new concepts for the teachers. Next year will be my second year teaching electricity and magnetism, and the lack of materials at my campus is not conducive to making this learning meaningful to my students.
My goal is to provide them engaging lab opportunities as often as possible.
I would love to get new materials, such as the physics science lab basic circuit learning starter kit, so my 7th graders this year can tinker and play and have a more hands on learning experience. Please help by sharing this post!
