Help me give my students the SET games which will allow them to use their teamwork, strategy and logic skills. The Kings in the Corner game enables differentiation in my classroom and focuses on sequencing and executive function.

My Students

My student population consists of diverse ethnicity, various socioeconomic levels and a multitude of family make-ups. They come to school with such different perspectives on life, school, expectations and goals. I am always eager to start each school year and learn about the curve balls in their lives and how I can help shape their confidence and social skills. The activities in my classroom expose my students to new concepts and ideas that they never thought possible.

My mathematics classroom is not just about working with the four basic operations, fractions or geometry - I also teach them about strategies to solve problems and thinking logically to solve problems.

My Project

The SET game and Kings in the Corner games are great choice for fun, invigorating activities for my students.

The SET game energizes the students to work as a team and solve challenging patterns using organization and logic skills.

A student who may have trouble with basic mathematical operations has a chance to use other parts of their brain to find patterns in the cards that they have to play with. It is a face-paced, teamwork game that really excites the students!

Kings in the Corner game is a great alternative for students at a lower level. This game allows them to work on their sequencing of numbers and colors. Great addition when differentiation is needed!
