My Students

The OHS band program is a multifaceted music department. We have many different bands within the program. Those ensembles are: marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band, percussion ensemble and color-guard.

The OHS band students are some of the hardest workers I have ever had the pleasure of directing.

We have a wide variety of members from many different backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. The beautiful thing is that they all come together to make beautiful music together. I am very lucky to be their director.

My Project

We have a growing band program at OHS and we use an electric keyboard in every class offered - marching band, jazz band, and concert band. Unfortunately, this is one of the instruments that must be replaced. Our current keyboard is nearly 20 years old and it has unfortunately played its last notes.

By donating to our project you will provide our students with a state of the art musical instrument which could enhance every single musical ensemble at our school.

Students will now not have to worry about their decades old keyboard shorting out on them, they can focus on what is most important - the music!
