Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from all nationalities and economic backgrounds. What makes them unique is that they attend a dual language school. It is a total immersion school where students learn a second language from Pre-K through eighth grade.

Even though we are a Title I school, everyone shows empathy and open-mindedness.

Never has it been more important to find common ground even if we are different on the outside. Our school helps us learn to work and play together. After all, this is what has made our country the greatest.

My Project

Who was Benjamin Franklin? (Quien fue B. Franklin) is an important book that focuses on one small scientific discovery that led to a birth of many scientific discoveries.

Our jobs are moving towards the fields of Math and Science.

This is the time we as educators need to focus on trends in our society. Artificial intelligence is the new field of discovery. By having students read about past explorers in the filed of Math and Science, they can begin to understand that starting small can lead to great discoveries.

Without that first experiment that proved that electricity existed in our skies, many discoveries might have been delayed.
