Elective Fair to Celebrate Academics Needs Art Supplies!

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn about electives and academic programs to shape their future educational goals! These items will help us to throw our first Elective Fair and celebrate academics!

My Project

Course selection is a very overwhelming time for students in High School. Trying to navigate graduation requirements, prerequisites, class schedules, future professional and academic goals can be daunting. This year we hope to improve this process by holding a Science Fair style event that will focus on nearly 1800 students and their future education.

This event promotes all of the academic programs including electives, Honors/AP course, alternatives to core classes, academic academies, career and technical education, NJROTC and many more!

All 9th-11th grade students will have the opportunity to go around booths run by their teachers and current students of the class to learn first hand what to except in the possible classes next year. This event will help students to gain more control over their education and increase student enjoyment and engagement in school. Reading a course selection manual is not enough to make an informed decision.

These supplies such as table cloths, papers, and markers will help 40+ classes, electives and programs create displays and a memorable event that students will want to attend. Please help support our school wide efforts in promoting and encouraging positive academics and learning!
