Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My seventh and eighth grade students are eager to learn! These students are very diverse and have many talents. They attend an arts integrated school that is working diligently to move the needle. The arts integration allow for whole brain learning to occur. They have so much enthusiasm for learning and English language arts. This group of artists is very diverse. All students have different learning styles and they are working on becoming more aware of how they learn best in my class.

My Project

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, my students are left to navigate digital learning. Many of my students to not have the technology necessary to complete online tasks. They need access to technology to stay on pace for the year.

These tablets will ensure students have the necessary means to continue their education in this difficult time.

Google classroom and school curriculum materials have the means to be digital for students to access at home. There are a minimum of ten students that could use this tablet to complete their learning and keep progress going!
