My Students

My students are excited to perform hands-on experiments that bring science lessons to life! Having the space and a proper science table are essential!

Our students are enthusiastic learners who come in every day, ready to learn, with positive attitudes.

They are excited for science and learning how they can make a difference in the world. Our K-8 school serves a diverse population of many cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school sits on the outskirts of one of the fastest growing towns in the United States.

My Project

My students love experimenting! To do this, we need more space: we need room to spread out and work in smaller groups. Small groups allow each student a chance to test their hypotheses.

I love to watch the excitement as students see color changes in chemistry, examine a rock they may have only previously seen in books, or set up a physics experiment.

It is so much more fun to have a hands-on experience, rather just watch others touch the "stuff." With another table, the most hesitant student may have a chance to step up to the table and to shine.
