These are unprecedented times. Never did I imagine that when my students and I said goodbye in March it would mean that it was our last day in the classroom. However, the year is not over yet!
My students and I have embarked on the distance learning journey!
We are actively engaged in all sorts of different online platforms and learning new things. My students and I participate daily in Zoom meetings to go over new material, and to check in with each other. In addition, I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn new material. I am amazed by their level of engagement and participation, and families' willingness to try new things.
My amazing students have been working incredibly hard using the assignments that I have given them Schoology. However, my learners would benefit greatly from my having creative and colorful anchor charts.
This project will provide more opportunities for my students to engage in online learning instruction.
Circle Time Learning center and storyteller writing box are visual tools to help my students to be successful while learning at home.
Once we excitedly return to school, my phenomenal special education and English Language Learner (ELL) students will benefit immensely by having a visual aid in our classroom.
