Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The staff in our building work tirelessly to provide explicit and systematic instruction to the student to ensure that every learner achieves. These engaging centers will help reinforce the skill sets taught as students will be able to apply their new knowledge to their independent centers.

The locking letter sounds and phonemic awareness centers will be amazing to build foundational reading skills.

The phonics touch and read cards will provide a tactile way to apply their decoding skills, while the writing center will allow students to express their creativity while also honing their skill of crafting complete sentences.
