ELA About the USA Military

Help me give my students the experience to learn about the US Military. These books, flags and posters will provide resources and open up new worlds for them.

My Project

My middle school students have been asking to learn about the US military branches. These books, posters and flags will be important resources to support this project.

Students will choose one of the branches of the military and research it.

They will create posters and slide shows, to then teach the rest of the class about their branch. This project empowers the students, allows them to take charge and teach others.

Our library currently is lacking in books covering this topic. These books will provide valuable information, photos and help connect research with reality. The posters and flag will give the students materials that provide hands on learning and viewing. It is important for our students to learn about those who sign up to protect our way of life and possibly make the ultimate sacrifice.
