This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a literacy interventionist working in a middle school with students who are performing below grade-level expectations. This project will provide me with instructional resources that have a systematic approach as well as a scope and sequence to get students on track and ensure they are progressing toward meeting grade-level expectations. As well as literacy skills and strategies so that students will be successful with reading and can move out of intervention. This will give students the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to be successful in middle school and high school, and beyond.
