Our school is a Title 1 school with low income families which need extra support in language skills. My school means a lot to me including my Kindergartners! Each year, I get a very special bunch of students who are eager to learn new skills. My students learn everything in our school from how to read and write for the first time, math skills, social studies, and science. They also learn how to make friendships that will last a lifetime!
The Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing® (LiPS®) Program develops phonemic awareness, reading, spelling, and speech.
Students discover the physical characteristics of each phoneme and use this kanesthetic feedback to verify sounds within words. This program would help my student in reading , spelling and speech.

I learned about this wonderful program through visiting another school !
I am requesting to get the Lips program because the LiPS Kit focus on tasks progress from articulatory movement to sound, then to letter.
Through guided discovery techniques, students explore the physical movements involved in producing sounds and learn to hear, see, and feel the physical characteristics of sounds. This in-depth knowledge leads to the student's ability to understand how words are constructed and to self-correct is essential skills for independent reading and spelling.
I am also asking for storage bins to keep all the wonderful tools needed for my classroom.
