My school is a dual language school dedicated to bridging the Deaf and Hearing communities in New York City. Our students come from every borough of New York City. The majority are Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs), whose first language is American Sign Language. We are a close-knit school that embraces deaf culture. We celebrate the kids for their differences.
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.

My Project
During this new time in our lives, students all around the city are adjusting to this new way of learning. These gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers will make a tremendous difference in my students' learning because it will allow me to purchase several different digital programs and resources to support the needs of all learners. This will help to make learning more fun and engaging for these sweet children during these difficult times.

As an educator, I am constantly creating resources and tools that can help my students grow and flourish as learners. This site has countless lessons, games, resources, interactive slides, and so much more! I can use all of this while teaching remotely during the pandemic as well as in the future when we go back to teaching in person.
