My first-grade students are creative, thoughtful and have a hunger to learn. Each student in my class presents and shows great dedication and devotion to achieving the highest grades while striving to expand their learning on a daily basis despite obstacles they may encounter. They come to school each day excited to learn new information. Our classroom is their second home, a place that is their own, where they feel safe and love to learn. Our classroom is their biggest resource in the school. They use the materials and tools in our room to learn and to become more independent and take ownership of their learning. They are working hard every day to continue working toward their goals.
My Project
Students deserve to learn in a way that is fun and interactive.
Having my students play hands-on educational games will keep them engaged, active and it also allows them to think outside the box.
The games I chose will help my students become more proficient in reading and writing. The math games I have chosen can help my students build their number sense, logical reasoning skills, and spatial awareness skills in a fun and engaging way. Board games are a great way for kids to learn without them realizing they are learning. It also helps develop social skills with their peers.
