My students are eager to learn through movement and hands-on experience. Our school is a Title I school, and 68% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
Students struggle in music class due to the lack of consistency in their teachers.
I have promised my students to come back, and to make music an experience that they will not forget.
These students enjoy activities that include competition, dancing, singing, drumming, and playing instruments. Our classroom is not quite the music room that we need, YET, and we are excited to see our learning environment expand!
Help brighten up our classroom through donating to our beautiful music room carpet. Due to the lack of supplies available in our current situation, I have been having to use masking tape on my carpet to help aid in seating and activities.
This music carpet will allow for my students to visualize music in a more effective way, and help keep the room in beautiful condition.
This carpet is not only visually pleasing, but the multiple symbols and images will allow for me to show my students these symbols in a consistent way. It will also open up the opportunity for my students to ask the many questions they have. This carpet will be used for multiple activities that involve full-body movement, and learning the symbols and staff.
My busy Young Five and Kindergarten students love to peel off the masking tape, causing my room to look unappealing. This will allow for them to be visually engaged and keep their space neat and clean!
