Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I can't wait to have these educational books that showcase African American children being courageous. These books are inspirational and will help my students envision themselves as being brave and courageous too. I want to have these books and snacks that they can eat as we learn about African American Heroes. The book that shows the story of Ruby Bridges will be great to read! I can't wait for us to read the story of Kamela and Maya's Big Idea. My students work very hard and they need the energy to get thru the school day. I want to have a ready supply of snacks so that they can have access to a snack during their school day.

I know my students will love these books that celebrate diversity and strong female role models; they will love these snacks that include popcorn, pistachios, soft chewy granola bars and goldfish.

The Goldfish are the most popular snack. The snacks fly off the counter. They will just love these snacks. They also like soft chewy granola bars. I want to have granola bars so that they can have a sweet in moderation.

My students will enjoy these snacks and my students will have energy in class. These books and snacks will be a special treat. Thank you for supporting my project. Thank you for caring about our students' learning and their health. Thank you for helping them have amazing books and delicious snacks at school.
