This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a K-2 MID special needs teacher and schools are now closed for the remainder of the school year. Now, online teaching is the way we are working with our students. I work at a Title I school with limited funds. I have 6 special education students who need tablets or other forms of technology. This is a must because students will miss a great deal of academics over the next 2 months without technology. Most special education students need repetition, which is impossible without technology. Please help, which will be greatly appreciated by my students and their parents.

My Project

Since the coronavirus is a current concern, education has changed. I have 6 special needs students that do not have technology to use for online learning. These tablets would provide all of my students with access to education. Special needs students need repetition, which is impossible without technology.

Special needs students are part of our future, so their education is just as important as general education students.

These students will be so behind next year without this help, because 2 months is a long time. Please think about the future of our special need students; they count too.
