My Students

I am honored to teach students in a Title I - low income community in North Carolina. My students have intelligence beyond words to describe, yet are limited by the ability to obtain resources in order to start a legacy project that future classes will add on to.

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

My students are ambitious to make a weekly podcast program to share what they have learned. They came up with a vision to host these podcasts and have them be student led using the Blue Microphones Snowball ICE-microphone. They will use this microphone to assist in recording a professional podcast for their history course. Students will also use the WD My Passport for Mac WDBFKF0010BBK - hard drive - 1 TB - USB 3.0 and, the JVC HA-F160-B Gumy - earphone because these are needed components to carry out the recordings.

Topics they would be speaking about will be the history events we have learned, subjects on current events, and student perspectives on global and governmental issues, etc.
