My students need help paying for admission to the California Academy of Science in San Francisco. Some of our students also have 1:1 aids that must attend to help them successfully navigate and experience the museum.

My Students
Our School's Student Programs serve students with various challenges. Our students face communication, behavior, sensory, cognitive, and physical challenges daily. Many of our students are non-verbal students with Autism, which can make trips in the community difficult.
We LOVE to take our students to places where they get to experience the same things that their typically developed peers get to experience.
Our students have adult support to help them safely navigate the community using appropriate behaviors, enabling them to learn about the world around them. We are ALL SUPER HEROES!
My Project
Our students will be exposed to a curriculum that their typically developed peers are exposed to throughout their academic lives. Providing these experiences helps with their social and academic development, which is a major part of our functional academic curriculum
Going to the California Museum of Science will provide my students with an unforgettable experience.
The museum staff stated that they will provide our students with a modified curriculum that our students will be able to fully access. This is an important component of providing students with an all-inclusive education, which they rightly deserve. The benefits of this trip will be immeasurable.
