Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are always displaying great determination and diligent hard work. We strive to complete STEAM and STEM projects throughout multiple disciplines. Our skill set completes all requirements given by the state and we look forward to achieving national standards. Our students bring life to all projects that we complete.
Students are constantly challenging the boundaries of how our curriculum is based, and challenging how teachers can change the way students learn.
This project will allow our content to bring forth better interdisciplinary content lesson plans.
Our school proudly serves military families, underprivileged students struggling with economic hardships, and a melting pot of diverse racial backgrounds.
My Project
What better way to learn about ecosystems, than to create and care for one? This ecosystem will not only give students knowledge in science, but it will reach all other disciplines at our school. Students will have one on one interaction with this ecosystem and be able to see first hand how organisms interact and why this is vitally important.
We proudly serve military families, economically disadvantaged students, and a diversity of racial backgrounds.
We all learn in different ways and retention is proven to increase in all people when given the opportunity for hands on learning. This is a resource that will give knowledge for many years to come and thousands of children to come.
