This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a lively group of first grade students! Our county is classified as high poverty on every Google search. We are a Title I school. There isn't any industry in the area. Access to academic resources outside of the school are very limited.

Most of our students come to us with very little exposure to real life experiences due to the fact that the county resources are so limited.

We are required to expose them to so much, but without technology, that can be impossible. These kids are eager to learn but do not have the necessary tools.

My Project

We are asking for an Epson EcoTank printer and refill ink. We do a lot of stem projects in our room that require printing. This printer is an amazing piece of technology to add to our STEM room. We are trying to slowly building a technology lab and we need this piece to help print some of their final projects. This printer comes with enough ink to last two years which a huge bonus for our budget. It's wireless, so we can use it with our existing technology. We are excited about the possibility of adding this technology to our lab!
