This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work as a special education teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they encounter, I am looking to provide my students with healthy snacks that we can eat throughout the day.
The students range from grades K-5 and most arrive at school late and very hungry.
We are in need of cereal and snacks for our students in order for them to be successful in class.
My Project
We need a Whitmore storage cabinet to keep our Capri sun juice, Pepperidge farm goldfish, Grandma Cookies, Frito Lay variety pack, Cheez-it, pop secret premium popcorn, Nabisco cookies variety, Kellogs cereal assortment, Healthy Helpings Natural Animal Crackers TWIZZLERS Strawberry Twists, Maruchan Chicken Flavored Instant Lunch, and Snyder Hanover pretzels secure.
These snacks and assortments will be used to make sure that our children are not hungry and are able to focus throughout the school day.
We want to make sure that No Child Is Left Behind, in order to do so we must make sure that No Child Leaves School HUngry.
