My Project

I teach four year olds with special needs, the average 4 year old is less than three feet tall. The bookshelves that can fit all of my picture books are far too tall for my students to easily see and access the books, especially students who have mobility issues. This cart will help sort the books by theme and put them at a level and an accessible height for them.

I have been collecting books over my twenty+ year career and I want my students to be able to better explore all of them!

Many children's books have narrow spines and typically book shelves store books spines out. This cart will show covers instead of spines!
