My students need a teaching easel that would make it so much easier to teach reading, writing, math, and science in clear view. My students could also use it to write on independently.

My Students
I teach at a beautiful, yet socio-economically disadvantaged school, in California. I am a kindergarten teacher, and I truly believe educational and social success begins in kindergarten.
Our school is a Title I school, with a majority of the families receiving free or reduced rate lunch.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and have many different social-emotional needs. When designing my classroom, my goal is to create a warm, aesthetically beautiful, and inviting environment that will make students want to come to school each day.
My Project
Every kindergarten room needs an easel. It is a staple among classes, and we need one after ours was destroyed during a roof collapse, a year ago.
This item will be used to teach in all curricular areas and will provide a display where all children will see teaching content easily.
Children love easels to learn with and to play with. This easel is student size, and my kindergarteners will use it for free choice time as well as during the day. They love to use it for tally mark counting, free writing, drawing, and just about anything they want to express. It is an awesome tool for learning!
