My Students

My student artists are creative and enthusiastic about sharing their art with the community. Their interests within the realm of visual arts vary, but include photography, textile arts, painting, sculpture, and much more!

My students make their art come to life with limited supplies and good old fashioned ingenuity.

Their creativity knows no bounds. We've had students create lively murals, fashion, experiential art, animation, and more. Last year we had two students display social justice art exhibitions in our school gallery space. My students want to use their art to make the world a better place.

My Project

Although student artists are often shy, their work allows them to express themselves and to share a piece of themselves with the world. Throughout the school year, students have multiple opportunities to share their work with the community. However, this usually involves taping and hanging their work to the hallway walls in a less than professional manner.

My students deserve to present their work in a professional manner, and new easels will allow them to feel more confident when sharing their art with the community.

This will be especially meaningful during their annual Arts Night exhibition where their families and members of the community come to view what they've been working on throughout the school year.
