My Students

We are a small PreK-6 rural district in NE CT. The majority of my students have been together since preschool and are like siblings. Our school climate emphasis is respect, responsibility and safety. My students are kind and compassionate to one another and the community at large.

My Project

An easel will facilitate my instruction during mini lessons as well in individual conferences. This will add to conversation, collaboration, and teaming. This easel is mobile and will allow me to hang chart paper and anchor charts, as well as write messages.

With an easel, my students will be able to reference anchor charts used in the mini lesson, share new learning and teach one another in all subjects.

The book bins will replace boxes we started the year with that are in disrepair. Organization in a workshop model is a key component in a workshop model and student learning outcomes.
