This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We need your help! Although we have a ton of anchor charts and other sources of enrichment, we need a place to display them and keep them where they can be easily accessed by myself and my students. The whiteboard side will be used in small groups to make instruction more meaningful.
My third grade students attend a school that is very mixed (socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, home life, family makeup and more).
For many of these students, school is an escape and we try to make their time here as effective but also as fun as possible.
My Project
We love to create charts to help us learn but with as many as we make it seems as though we run out of ways to use them. With this chart stand, I won't have to give it to a student to hold (many times effects attention since they're moving it around) and we can put up the ones we're using while I'm instructing. The chart and the easel side can be used in my small groups. The whiteboard will definitely prove to be useful for spelling, math practice, notes to my students, writing practice and so much more! This will truly help my students in every subject and as they always do, I know they'll teach me new ways to use it each day!
For many of my students, being at school with a teacher who loves them is what makes them feel important!
Help me make our classroom just a little bit more inviting and a little easier to move around by donating today!
