As our world is quickly changing due to COVID-19, I am compelled to create a classroom environment that makes it easy for students watching via live stream and in the classroom. My classroom is a happy, sheltered, and safe place for these 5 and 6-year-old student to learn, express themselves, and use their imagination to create wonderful works! Many of my students haven't ever been in a school setting and I want to make every day special for them. I need an easy way to create anchor charts and contain my resources during my mini-lessons.
This is a Title I supported the school and low income where well over half of students receive free and reduced breakfast/lunches.
We have a variety of needs ranging from students with autism, emotional support, learning support, and students who simply struggle and need a little extra encouragement. I want everyone to feel successful and be proud of their accomplishments! I love my students so much and feel delighted that I can help them create a lifetime love of learning!
My Project
Half of my students will be watching the live stream at home, and the other half will be learning with me in the classroom. This easel will help me have a safe place to keep my resources, a great surface to create anchor charts, and a way to demonstrate skills during mini-lessons. I can use the chart paper as well as my students. So this will be helpful for students to practice and for me to demonstrate skills. The product I have selected will make it easy for kids and for me to stay organized!
