My Students

I have a wonderful class of incoming third graders this year who are eager to learn! Having worked with them as second graders in the previous school year, I know that they are imaginative, enthusiastic, and creative.

I know that my students are capable of amazing things, and I can't wait to see how they grow this year!

When students develop a love of learning, it is life changing. I'm looking forward to the ways I can foster that passion for knowledge.

My Project

My students love to move around the room throughout our lessons. Transitioning from our desks to the carpet area as we progress throughout our day provides a much needed physical break and resets the minds to be ready for more learning. Only having a whiteboard at the front of the room limits my student to remaining at their desks for many activities.

Having a whiteboard easel for our carpet area will make our writers workshops and small groups meetings much more productive.

My students will be able to transition from desks to the carpet and still engage in lessons that involve writing on the whiteboard or making anchor charts.
