As a teacher in a Title I school, I work with a lot of students who are English language learners and from low-income families. Some students are very new to the country, and the families have moved here in hopes of providing a better life for their children. In addition, more than 90% of the students in the school receive free/reduced-price breakfast and lunch.
My students are very eager and excited to learn!
I want to be able to provide my students with many different engaging ways to learn.
Our classroom needs a new easel to help improve the students' learning during whole group instruction. The easel is the center of whole group lessons that take place on the carpet. It is used not only to store materials for lessons, but also as a way for students to interact with lessons. This is done through a variety of different items.
The easel is used interactively with dry erase markers, big books, pocket charts, magnetic manipulatives, and creating anchor charts.
The new easel would easily allow me to change out materials to the correct ones for my students to use for each lesson.
