They also need seating options like Donut Cushions, CanDo Inflatable Donut Ball, Kick Bands Bouncy Chair Fidget Bands, for their active bodies. Also Privacy Partitions to use while they are working in class.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds. The area around our school is full of large farms, but our students are often the children of the workers on the farm. Many do not speak English at home. I want school to be a safe place for my students.
My goal as a teacher is to provide a peaceful, welcoming, supporting, and engaging classroom.
As a first year teacher that recently relocated to pursue my dream and passion, I am struggling to get the materials to achieve my goal.
My Project

Also Privacy Partitions to use while they are working in class. The easel we have in our classroom is no longer in working shape. It easily tips over, which is both dangerous and inconvenient. Our principal would likely get us a new one, but my students loved that people that didn't know them cared enough about their learning to donate to our classroom the last time and suggested themselves to do another project. We are halfway through the year and my kiddos are busy bodies, so the bands and flexible seating options will help them while at their seat and give them an alternative option that is a little warmer and a little cozier.
