Our students are awesome workers in grades 9-12. Special needs they have don't stop them; they are consistently positive and productive as they work around campus in Voc Lab class and on Team Falcon.
Our students want to build employment skills and are ready to work and learn.
We provide opportunities in the Copy Center, Cafeteria, Mail Room, and work around campus completing maintenance projects of all kinds. This year, they have learned basic carpentry, painting, masonry, general maintenance and mechanics, and now they'd like to learn landscaping. Team Falcon Works!
My Project
Students in our Voc Lab class learn hands-on job skills to prepare them for employment after high school. In addition to learning painting, cleaning, carpentry, masonry, and general maintenance and mechanics, they would like to learn landscaping, but we're in need of some supplies.
Our goal is to complete landscaping projects, on our school campus, to learn the trade while beatifying the grounds.
We've fixed and painted the benches and tables on campus, and now it's time to focus on the grounds. We plan on raking, trimming, planting flowers, and moving rocks while we learn about different plants and trees.
