My second-grade students are lovable, energetic children, who are always eager to learn new things. They look forward to school each day because they are provided with inquiry-based learning. Creating projects and learning new things are a part of our everyday learning experience.
Our school has a K through eighth-grade student body.
Our goal is to provide the most enriching, challenging education possible for all of our students. Our beautiful classroom is a warm, caring environment, conducive to all types of wonderful learning experiences.
My Project
Our school-wide theme this year is "Earth Day Every Day". Therefore, the materials requested in this project are going to be used as my students' first day of school introduction and motivational tools for the school year. The paper mache' letters are going to be used for groups to decorate using recycled materials such as material scraps, bottle caps, broken crayons, and etc. Each group will decide and come to a census on which type of recyclable material they would like to use to decorate their letter. The burlap bags and earth stress balls will be on each students' desks for the first day of school.
