Earresistable Classroom Fun and Learning

My Students

My students are a lot of fun. They are witty, energetic, and always up for a good time. I take it as a personal mission to be the one to introduce them to new ideas and experiences. They love exploring learning in a hands-on approach that gets them up and moving and inquiring about new topics. Often, we lack the supplies in order to provide them these experiences though.

Many of my students are behind in math, which hinders their performance in fifth grade and future grades.

I would love to add a few more supplies to our classroom environment to help engage students, reward them for their efforts, and introduce new skills in fun and creative ways. When kids are excited about their learning, they take more ownership.

Our current programs are used and worn. Students are familiar with them and they are not engaged while using them. It is my hope that these new supplies will excite them to work on their math and reading all while having fun!

My Project

These materials will help aid areas in my classroom that are currently lacking. I included headphones, as ours are worn and broken. I do not have enough for every student and would love for each to be able to have their own pair. I added art supplies since we have run out in the district and my students really enjoy creating art with colored pencils. Also included are a couple of games for students to play during indoor recess. With all of the snow and rain, students are missing going outside for recess but I would like to make those indoor days a little less rainy! Lastly, I added some incentives to help spruce up my class treasure box.
