Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are looking for unique ways to fundraise for our festival and competition trips this year. Our students will be traveling to Flagstaff AZ and Washington D.C. Each trip is about $1000. We have given scholarships to each student in the amount of $250, however we still have a long way to go.

We would like to start a button campaign on campus supporting our choir program.

The student will learn all aspects for of creating, marketing and selling their fundraising item. Each student must come up with a unique design, price point, and then sell their product. They will be responsible for the counting and depositing of the money into the bookstore for their trip. Providing real life experience on saving and earning money toward a goal

Being a title I school, many of our students do not have the financial means to go on this trip. Money, should never stop a student from a life changing experience. We are asking for your help. Thank you for your continued support of our students and providing unique opportunities for our students.
