This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are twenty-four brilliant scholars attending a high-poverty, Title I elementary school. We are eager to learn, and we crave the stability and routine of a healthy school environment. We are engaged in our learning and are striving to become lifelong learners.
We come from many diverse backgrounds and cultures, and each of us brings a unique and important perspective to our classroom.
We treasure our friendships in teamwork and work hard to build on many important social skills that will help us as we build relationships in the future.
My Project
Early learners develop at different rates and art can be a wonderful way for kindergarteners to express themselves. We need art supplies to help us produce, create, and express ourselves through art.
Art creation allows early learners to develop and strengthen fine motor skills.
We need paint sticks, pom poms, tape and collage materials to create original art. We need visors and tote bags to help us create wearable art. We need tissue paper, foam sheets, construction paper, and colorful macaroni to create colorful art.
Art can provide a creative outlet for early learners. Art can help personal development, fine motor skills, and social development. Art projects are an important part of our kindergarten classroom.
