My fourth grade students are caring, outgoing, and creative students. They come from diverse backgrounds from all around the world. My students love exploring and being real life scientists while building social and academic skills. They are creative problem solvers who work diligently every day at our low socioeconomic school. We are grateful and excited to have this opportunity get our project funded!
The students in my class are innovative learners who are seeking opportunities to be creative 21st century problem solvers by using non-traditional technological tools.
We love being scientists and engineers, but we are lacking the supplies necessary to engage in high levels of exploration. My students come from underprivileged families and would never have these amazing opportunities without your help!
My Project
Students in my class use computers daily; however, they do not have a single pair of headphones! We are in dire need of a class set of headphones and cases to use while reading on computers, taking online tests, and playing math games. Students will use these earbuds on a daily basis.
With a new set of earbuds for my class, my students can use computers daily and listen to online stories, publications, podcasts, and participate in online testing.
Without these resources, my students are unable to participate. Some of my students are stressed about how they can afford to buy headphones for our standardized MAP test later this month.
With your help, my fourth grade students can relax, enjoy using the computers at school, and be fully prepared for our upcoming achievement tests!
