My students are bright and intelligent little people who face some pretty hard things in their lives outside of school. Every time they walk into my classroom my hope is that they feel appreciated, known, and loved!

The students in my classroom have many obstacles thrown at them. Most are things that people their age never have to deal with. When they enter my classroom, however, I do my best to empower them and show them that even though the odds may be against them, I am in their corner and ultimately they are the ones in charge of their own future.
My Project
Having these headphones will help my students grow in a multitude of ways. It will allow them to listen to reading, broadening their vocabulary and instilling a love of reading. It will also allow them to use technology to not only assist in filling in any learning gaps, but to further their learning all together.
Your donations will help my students access reading in a whole new way.
I have many students who come from places where reading is not always a priority. These headphones will expose my students to new vocabulary and good literature, showing them how important those skills are.
