My Students

Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Others live in poverty and cannot afford to buy supplies. Then I also have students who can afford supplies as well.

My students represent a diverse background economically.

I have students who live by themselves and are working.

I have students with special needs as well. I have students who come from homes where the parent(s) do not care. We have approximately 700-800 students in our school. Our school strives to bring students into the 21st century.

My Project

By helping to provide earbuds, students will be able to actively participate in technology with classroom assignments.

For example when learning about ballads, students will find a ballad from YouTube, provide a link, and write a 100-word paragraph about it.

Analyze for these parts and include in a paragraph the title, details, purpose and most powerful or significant detail.

This project will bring real world meaning to students. Students need to be exposed to technology, because when they get a job, or go to college, they will be around technology. By providing ear buds, students will be able focus on the task at hand.
