This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Can you imagine having the comfort of being able to express yourself freeing and having the support of your peers, parents, and teachers? Yessss! We are building an in class podcast that will allow our minds and feelings to flow freely! We need more technology in our classroom to help produce this project. Your help is needed!

I educate 75 hardworking and enthusiastic 6th graders.

I am so eager to see what I can learn about being a teenager in today's time is like from them. I hope that this project will be just as educational and fun for them as it will be for me.

My Project

Podcasting is a huge development in today's time, and is growing rapidly. With students, teachers, and even parents listening to podcasts more and more, why not give today's students and teachers the same platform to share thoughts and feelings.

This is an innovative and new way to create a healthy social-emotional relationship amongst parents, teacher, and students.

We are requesting a pair of Apple AirPods and a pair of Dr. Dre's Beats By Dre to use along with our new MacBook that was just donated to us.

Lastly, this will help level the playing field for those students that have difficulties in writing their thoughts down. This will allow them to speak their mind and not worry about it!
