My Students

My students are the best kids in the world! I love watching their eager faces each morning as we prepare to start a day of learning. They are full of hugs and stories to tell! Many of my children come from broken homes and lives. They come to school to find love and acceptance. I want them to leave each day knowing how much I love them.

My students live life in poverty, but I want them to see what high achievers they can be.

I spend a lot of money out of my own pocket to provide for my kids. But I love it!

My Project

Our school district uses several computer and iPad based programs to help our youngest learners achieve, especially with learning how to read. The programs are engaging and based on the needs of each student. Since the programs are self-paced, the students need headphones to hear the instructions for them and not everyone around them.

Our class needs a set of durable headphones that will withstand the use of young children.

Right now we use the only headphones our school can afford to purchase for our students because the majority of our parents can't provide these for their child. Sadly, the headphones don't last very long.
