Situated in Lake County California, we are a wonderful, creative, group of seven and eight-year-old children. During 2nd grade I want my students to have the opportunity to explore and challenge themselves while learning. Every day I am inspired by the wonderful 2nd graders I get to teach.
These amazing kids bring their enthusiasm, creativity, and excitement into our culturally diverse classroom.
Many of my students are from low-income families and they have few opportunities to experience extracurricular activities in our rural, high need community.
My Project
Every day my wonderful 2nd graders use Chromebooks in order to complete their work. We use computers to read online books for our reading programs and for our free time reading. We also use our computers for Google Classroom, math centers, and reading centers. My students would benefit from having sturdy headphones while they are independently working so they can work efficiently on these educational websites.
My students deserve the opportunity; to learn independently, to be supported, and to be challenged.
All of my students have different needs and they need quality headphones to easily access curriculum, centers, and books.
