Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is a Title I, at-risk school, with a population of over 70% of English Language Learners.
My students come to school to laugh, learn, be loved, and to eat a healthy meal.
Our school provides 100% free breakfast and lunch for our students. We are working very hard to accomplish our dreams, goals, and, most importantly, graduating from college and becoming successful.
Our classroom is a place where amazing things happen every day. Students come into this classroom from every walk of life imaginable. Upon walking into the classroom, you will see a diverse group of students who share the same love for school and friendship.
While all the students are so amazingly different, they all share a strong desire for learning and success.
These children strive for greatness every day. No matter what obstacle, they are strong and resilient children who work hard every day to do well and learn to the best of their ability.
This project will give each of my students a pair of working and comfortable headphones they can call their own. The sticker pack and party favor kit will push my students to try their best in school everyday! The white contact paper will help me turn their desks into a whiteboard area where they can write on during math lessons. Having this contact paper will make our classroom much more fun and engaging to be in during lessons!
Students spend hours and hours in the classroom and it should be comfortable, fun, and well structured.
