My Students
Eagle Scholars is a college-readiness program that selects 30 graduating sixth graders each year based on their grades and interest in college, moves with them throughout their middle and high school career, and continues to offer support throughout college. Parents and students are equipped with the social, emotional, and academic preparation needed to prepare them to go to and get through college.
Throughout their five years, students are connected with mentors, exposed to careers and new experiences, equipped with the life skills needed to manage their time, money, and study habits, and prepared to navigate new and different settings.
My Project
Eagle Scholars is a college-readiness program dedicated to assisting students with pursuing their college dream. Since many of our students are first-generation college students, many don't know what they need, so we supply them with the things they may forget that they need.
Each year, Eagle Scholars have a College Signing Day where they are presented by younger students with baskets full essentials for college, which include school and office supplies.
Our scholars also receive awards and are congratulated by our younger Eagle Scholars. This shows our younger scholars that it is possible to achieve your goals, even when the odds are stacked against you. In spite of current circumstances and limitations, we want to celebrate our seniors' achievements by giving them a well-deserved send-off!
