My students need a way to help them become independent readers, and this LeapFrog LeapReader system will assist them in becoming independent readers by giving them the confidence to read unknown text and gain important skills.

My Students

My Kindergarten students are eager learners who love to read! By funding this project, you are assisting my students by giving them an additional way to be an independent reader in the classroom!

Many of my students are English Language Learners, and so for them to be able to read independently would be a wonderful confidence booster for them.

Many times these resources are not available in their homes, so giving them this piece of technology would greatly help them!

My Project

My Kindergarten students are eager to learn how to read, yet many times the text can be overwhelming, which is frustrating for them. By choosing the LeapFrog Leap Reader system, they can become confident readers, all while gaining important decoding skills which will aid them in moving from emergent to fluent readers!

Many times my struggling readers shut down and refuse to decode text, making it difficult for them to enjoy reading.

By choosing a system which helps them be independent, yet still reading at their own pace, their confidence will soar and they will gain self-esteem as readers!
