Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are beautiful and put a smile on my face every day. Our school consists of students who come from low income families and are on a free lunch program. Despite the challenges their families face outside of school, the children come to school happy and are ready to learn. My eager students love learning and are always willing to please. They are determined to succeed. With their determination and hard work, they will be unstoppable and grow up to be successful adults.
My Project
My eager first graders will become wonderful authors and illustrators by the end of our school year. Oh, how excited they will be if they can put aside their pencil and paper and use their Chromebooks to publish their writing. A class printer will allow us to do just that. My students will be so excited to publish their work on a Word document and, if we have a class printer, it will make this happen in our classroom. Their narrative, informational and persuasive pieces will be able to be printed for all of their classmates and school to see. A classroom printer will make their writing top notch!
