My Students

Welcome to our classroom! My students come to school every day ready to learn and grow their brains! They are a diverse bunch of kids and are eager to learn as much as they can each day in our classroom. These wonderful first graders are eager to get their hands on as many STEM resources as they can! Many students do not have access to internet and current technology at home and come to school craving hands-on learning experiences. I strive to create lifelong learners in my classroom by building confidence and fostering creativity and curiosity through STEAM resources and activities.

We are a community in our classroom and we love learning together through authentic experiences!

My Project

Technology is all around us! We use technology every day in our classroom, from listening centers during reading, to virtual field trips, to apps that reinforce math and science skills. Tough, kid friendly headphones are a must for students to connect technology to their learning! The few headphones we have left are breaking, have poor sound quality, and are not comfortable for little ears.

We will use these headphones during reading rotations, as well as math time.

Durable headphones, made specifically for children, would help my students continue to grow their brains and get ready for the technology-driven real world!
